We've had several developments since the vacation.
First, Thomas no longer uses his high chair. He sits at the table with us, using his booster seat. He's also been using a fork and spoon with success (finally!) and can even feed himself cereal with milk! I am thrilled at this development, as I can now eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with him, and not have to reheat my own meal several times!
Second, Thomas had his 18 month well visit. He survived the dreaded MMR vaccine without incident. His stats are as follows:
Height: 34 1/2" (98%)
Weight: 27 lbs (65%)
Third, we were sick AGAIN (although G was spared this time). Thomas had the worst cold of his life so far, refusing to eat and take a bottle. I took the opportunity to rid him of the bottle. He doesn't seem to miss it, however, he now refuses to drink milk! Oh well. We're eating a lot of cheese and yogurt now, oh, and of course, the milk and cereal.
Finally, we had a lovely Memorial Day visit with Haley, David and Claire. Thomas had so much fun with his cousin! The Safari Park was the highlight of the trip.
For more photos from the trip, check out Claire's blog.
So that's all folks! People have been asking me when I am going to blog about that other development in our lives. Well, you are all going to have to wait on that one.
