Cry Baby

Thomas cried the other day (yes, really, he did).
Here are some photos to prove it.

Home School

As part of Thomas' rigorous academic schedule, Aunt Jennie came over for a guest lecture on the use of modern technology. Here she explains the essentials of text messaging to Thomas and Baby L.

Intern for a Day

Yesterday was "National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day,"
and Thomas made a cameo appearance at my office.

It took him no time to get into one of those
"conversations around the water cooler."

He also helped me sort through some emails.

He ended the day by napping through an office happy hour.

Just another day at the office!

Holy BIRTHDAYS, Batman!

There must be something in the atmosphere because Thomas gained a cousin today, and two new friends.

First, at 5:11 and 5:13 a.m. Twins Baby J and Baby B were born (two weeks early). Special Birthday Message from Thomas, "See you at UVa Law in 2029."

AND, the moment we've all been waiting for, Thomas' new baby cousin also decided to make an appearance today. Baby C arrived at 10:43 a.m. Special Birthday Message from Thomas: "We are so going to rule this family."

UPDATE: this just in, photo of Baby C. Will post more pics as I get them.

Amazon.com

Thomas made his first online transaction a few weeks ago,
and did not hesitate to delve into the goods once they arrived.

He's very advanced.

Frank the Tank (in training)

This past weekend the family went to G's 10 year college reunion. Upon arrival, Thomas was impressed with the accommodations. Much to his dismay, he was promptly moved to confines of the pac-n-play. He needed his rest before the weekend events began.

The next day, Thomas began a rigorous training session: "How to Attend Your 10 Year College Reunion and Pretend that you Never Left."

Lesson 1: If you find your old fraternity house locked, just climb through an open window. Remove outer clothing to ensure that when you land on the beer stained, grimy floor, you do not ruin your best North Face fleece.

Lesson 2: Attempt to re-create your fraternity composite (while minimizing the effects of aging), by standing behind the nearest beer pong table top. Stroller w/ baby helpful to demonstrate maturity gained in ten years.

Lesson 3: Conduct a morning debriefing on the previous night's activities. Feign disbelief when you hear that one of your friends can't remember where he left his keys, wallet and/or cell phone.

Class dismissed.

Tax Day

Happy filing!

Special birthday message from Thomas: "Thank you for founding the University of Virginia. If it weren't for you, my Mommy and Daddy would have never met."

Waiting for Daddy

M: "What is my baby doing!?"

T: "Oh, just looking to see if Daddy's coming home."

M: "But T, Daddy won't be home for another 15 hours..."

T: "Wha'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

Kisses for my Baby

This picture was taken last week, but I had to post it because Thomas was so cuddly this morning. Usually he eats his breakfast and is ready to start the day, but this morning he was cuddling and giving Mama lots of kisses and hugs. It's almost as if he knew this was my day off and he wanted to enjoy the morning as well.

It's All Relative

We spent the weekend celebrating the pending arrival of Baby C.
Mom-to-be looks great!

Thomas still found time for the ladies (sorry Baby L.).
He was quite enamored with Baby S.

T: "So, I have some Stage 1 food back at the high chair, care to join?"
S: "Sure, I'll go for some Butternut Squash, if you're buying."

S: "This is so yummy! Thomas, how's the cereal?"

T: "Should've ordered the Butternut Squash."
