St. Patty's Day Picnic

We had the luck of the Irish yesterday in the form of good weather, so we decided to go to the park. It took us about 45 minutes just to get to this point:

It would have taken less time, but just as I was all packed up and about to put everyone in the stroller, T. announced that he had to go upstairs to "play with his train table" (which is basically code for "I'm going to to take my morning constitutional"). So, a few diaper changes later, we were finally off and ready. While waiting for T., I packed lunch and we upgraded our outing into a picnic at the park:

Let's hope the weather sticks around!

Now I Know My ABC's

Over the weekend, Thomas sang the entire alphabet song to Geoff, unprompted. We didn't even know he could do it! Since then, I've been trying to get it on video. I finally succeeded last night:

T: "Dear Uncle David, for your birthday, my mom bought me a special cupcake. I finished it in under 1.35 seconds."

J: "Hey, why don't I get a cupcake?!"

Where the Wild Things Are

A few days ago, Thomas climbed into this box and said it was his boat.

I asked him if he was going to sail through night and day and in and out of weeks and almost over a year to where the wild things are, and he said, "Yes, with Max."

He is developing quite the imagination. And sometimes I do feel like scenes from this book are happening right in my very own living room. Especially this one:

Seen & Heard

T: "I make a big mess."
M: "Yes, you did."
T: "Aba's coming over. She going to see the mess."
M: "She is? What is she going to say about this mess?"
T: "She's gonna be mad. That's not very nice."
