Happy Birthday, Claire!

Special birthday message from Thomas: "Claire, I can't believe you've been on the scene for a year already! We need to schedule a visit soon, so I can give you your birthday gifts and teach you some new tricks. Judging by the videos I've seen, you are well on your way, but I've got a few good ones up my sleeve that I want to share."

Easter Highlight Reel

The festivities began on Thursday night, with a little pre-Easter Peep taste test. What could be better than pure sugar and marshmallow?

Then on Friday, we were off to Morgan's house for an Easter Egg Hunt. Thomas had so much fun, and was an egg hunting expert by the end of it. Thanks Morgan for a fun morning!

T: "Hmm, I think I see one hiding back there. . ."

Ball!

T: "Yes, I am now an expert egg hunter, and a well dressed one at that!"

Ugghh. Too much candy!

Hope everyone had a happy Easter!

The Sick House

So if you are wondering, I haven't posted in a week because we've been dealing with a stomach virus here. Thomas woke up last Thursday in vomit and seemed fine for the rest of the day, but then vomited again that night. He was totally fine after that, so we thought we were safe. Renee and Pop Pop were here visiting and Thomas wasted no time playing and reading and playing and reading. Then, on Saturday, while G and I were on a date night, Renee got sick. I spent all day Sunday scrubbing the house, because there is nothing I hate more than throwing up, and I was determined not to catch this thing. Thought we were in the clear, but yesterday G woke up barfing. LOVELY. So I spent the day laundering and scrubbing, and spraying Lysol on every surface. So far, I've seemed to avoid it, but I am just waiting to take my turn. Meanwhile, Thomas had to cancel a playdate and no visitors are allowed during the quarantine. Fingers crossed that the epidemic is over...
